Fantasy MMO developer Portarium Inc. this week introduced players to the lands of Shroud of the Avatar with a sexy new intro cinematic. With only six days until Release 9, they're celebrating with events, items, and a new Weekend Access Sweepstakes.

This update, players will see a new Ice Elemental combat pet (to go along with the previously-released Fire Elemental) and the counterpart to the previously-released Chest Mimic, the clawed-and-creepy Barrel Mimic. At long last, players will be able to explore the city of Ardoris (with new and improved mini-map) and purchase the add-on Obsidian Cloak or development-supporting Lord Cloak.  Other exciting things are also in the works including:
