Hello Pilots! With today’s patch, we’ve added a couple of new helmets to the in-game Red Bean Store, as well as replaced the Celestial Wings glider with a new “Legendary” reward in the Gold Token Pool! Check out the new items below.

The Icarus Glider Pad is the new “Legendary” Gold Vending Token reward, replacing the Celestial Wings glider. Unlike the Celestial Wings, the Icarus Glider Pad does deploy a glider pad that needs to be used to deploy the wings. However, it also has a unique and brand-new effect: if you have the Icarus Glider Pad in your inventory and use any glider, an updraft will appear a distance in front of you (based on the direction you are facing when you activate the glider) which can be used by any player to get a mid-air boost! Note that if you own the Icarus Glider Pad, you will get this updraft when you use any glider (be it a permanent pad, a player-deployed pad, or a pad-less glider such as the Celestial Wings). However, if you place the Icarus Glider Pad, other players who use it will not spawn an updraft (unless they also own the Icarus Glider Pad).
