完美世界公布了《笑傲江湖》的扩展，镀金荒原。玩家可以去探索新的实例和地牢，以及随着技能和能力的到来等级上限增加。

Perfect World has announced the release of the Swordsman expansion, Gilded Wasteland. Players have new instances and dungeons to explore, an increased level cap with its attendant skills and abilities and much more to check out when logging into the game today.

Swordsman: Gilded Wasteland takes players from the lush environments of Ancient China and throws them into the arid regions of Ping Liang, Dukhan and the Shadow Mountain Plains, challenging them to battle through new instances and dungeons. Additionally, new PvP opportunities bring new gameplay options to guild combat and arena skirmishes, including deathmatch battles and a “Capture the Lion” mode offering new martial-arts spin on classic game modes.

For veterans, the level cap has increased from level 89 to 94 and new players will benefit from an improved leveling curve. All players will see a multitude of optimization changes to ease their path to glory, including weapon crafting, companion training and new player-versus-player experiences, with an increased focus on guilds.
