According to information taken from a press release held in Korea earlier today, the open beta for the highly-anticipated Black Desert will begin on December 17th. Players will be able to download the client beginning on December 10th and be able to create their characters from December 12th-15th.

Also they had stated that there are a lot of changes compared to CBT3. The fishing system has been revamped. There will be brand new guild quests, a new title system, and unfortunately they will keep the channel system they had in CBT3 in which each channel will have the capacity of 5000 characters.
