As the ambition of Square Enix in MOBA aspect, Lord of Vermilion Arena has finished its 2nd alpha test. But unfortunately this game is still unavailable in our NA/EU. But via Steparu's game preview of Lord of Vermilion Arena we can get further info about it.

"The NDA for Lord of Vermilion Arena Alpha has been lifted and I wanted to share some of my first impressions of the game along with a brief explanation of the game system, mechanics, cards information, and more.

Before queueing up for a 7v7 PvP session, players must organize their cards and equipment in the lobby. Here they can purchase cards in the shop and craft equipments and weapons. For the time being, there are currently three types of weapons which are Sword Shield Combo, Two Handed Weapons, and Magic Staff. The card system is what makes Lord of Vermilion Arena unique because players aren't restricted to playing heroes with a fixed set of skills. Instead, they must equip 6 different cards and that will determine their passive and active skills in combat.
