The Origins of Malu: Factions team has sent word that the early access release for the Battlegrounds segment of the game will be opening on March 20th. Once testing has been completed on abilities and skills as well as on network performance, the doors will slowly open for more and more users. Battlegrounds early access testing will begin at 10:00 am Pacific / 1:00 pm Eastern on Friday, March 20th.

The Origins of Malu team also has announced that a hybrid revenue model is the current choice for funding the game past release. Players will be able to combine both free and paid aspects of the game (or not) and be able to find the best play style and payment option to suit each individual.
