The long-waited update for ArcheAge has finally launched today. Called "Dread Prophecies", the update is the largest yet for the game since it launched. The focus of Dread Prophecies is the new sea combat and lore, and now let's take a look at those new features the update brought to the game.

New Zones and Events

Do you still remember the 2 new zones we introduced not long ago? Players can now enjoy new PvE and PvP features in these 2 new zones as well as a new housing area. Besides, Trion has also prepared lots of events in honor of the launch of Dread Prophecies.

All-new Ship Customization System

Speaking of the sea combat, of course the ship is indispensable. After the launch of this update, each ship is customizable. Now players can build their own ship into a high-powered destroyer, cloaking speed-trader, or anything in between.

Evolved Combat on the High Seas

Fierce sea combat is now waiting for you to challenge.Factors like weight now affect ship speed, ramming inflicts collision damage, cannons can be upgraded or swapped out for shielding armor, and more.
