Canada developer Tasharen Entertainment recently releases a new game named Windward on Steam for Windows, Mac and Linux. Windward is an action-filled sandbox game that puts you in control of a ship sailing the high seas of a large procedurally-generated world.

Designed from the start to be a fully procedural co-op game, Windward can be played both by yourself and with friends. In Windward, there are three separate skill trees allow gamers to upgrade and customize their vessels to specialize in offense, defense or support. Gamers can focus on exciting naval combat against pirates, NPCs and other players in rival factions or opt for relaxing gameplay involving exploration, trading and diplomatic missions.
