NCsoft and Netmarble teamed up to make a mobile version of fantasy MMORPG Lineage II, which is currently called Project S. It is scheduled to be launch in 2016 worldwide. Netmarble is the best known mobile maker in South Korea, since they announced the cooperation partnership, NCsoft shares jumped 10.57%.
It's said that Project S will inherit the classical gameplay of PC version. In order to encourage more PC players to try the mobile version, NCsoft and Netmarble may consider the cross-platform play for Project S, for example, players can kill the monsters to get points in the mobile version and then use points to exchange for EXP in the PC version.
