The Gloria Victis team has accomplished a pair of major milestones in the game's development with the successful deployment of both passive abilities and structure upgrades. Passive abilities give players even more ways to personalize their characters through the prudent use of these abilities that include weapon or armor boons, among others.

Now players can upgrade the gates, defensive objects such as pots with boiling oil and resources extraction spots in controlled locations, as well as hire the stronger guards! In the upcoming updates this system will be greatly expanded by a possibility to build the whole outposts and castles from scratch. We will also implement siege machines such as ram, ballista or trebuchet to allow destroying fortifications during a siege!
