Did you ever dream of immersing yourself in the world of Sword Art Online? If so, then Your dream will soon come true. A new VR MMO based on the Sword Art Online series named Sword Art Online: The Beginning will be tested in Tokyo from March 18 to March 20.

According to the developer IBM Japan, this new project will use a next-generation cognitive system known as "IBM Watson" that "uses natural language processing and machine learning to reveal insights from large amounts of unstructured data." Also in the fray is SoftLayer, IBM's high performance cloud system that produces the ambiance of a real world.

Currently there is still no word about whether it's a full game or just a technical test. Anyway, this new project is really attractive to me. Only 208 applicants will be accepted for the test.
