BadFly Interactive has done it again. The sequel to the popular Dead Effect title is now available on Steam.Looking for a decent co-op game to play with your best buddy, or perhaps your better half decided to surprise you with a gaming session? Dead Effect 2 is a pretty awesome first-person shooter that might leave you with a few nightmares.

The bloody zombie shooter has some really awkward moments that go well with the whole sci-fi horror theme. Ever wanted to grab a Katana and run around on a spaceship chopping off heads of enraged zombies? Well, not really but the idea seems creative, to say the least.

Dead Effect 2 has plenty of content to discover, and the co-op mode definitely deserves a try. You can spot attempts at adding some RPG elements mixed with a touch of a sci-fi storyline and it really looks like a functioning combination of the popular genres. Since the game is still in production and you can currently buy an Early Access, bugs are bound to be around.

“Play the single-player missions at your own pace or engage your friends in the cooperative multiplayer mode,” says the official game description. “Train, develop your character, collect and upgrade countless weapons, gear and body implants and take control of the monster-infested ship.”
