Snail Games Associate Producer "Horsejoke" took to Reddit earlier this week to answer five questions about Dark & Light. Topics included why Snail is keeping the original name and logo, how movement and combat will work, the three faction system, dragons as mounts and progression in the game.
    Q: In some recent interviews, Snail has mentioned that Dark and Light will have three factions for players to choose from, can you expand on the faction system and how it will affect gameplay?
    A: Sure! After creating a character, players will be able to choose from one of three factions, each with their own background and lore. Each faction controls a main "city" hub that serves as a neutral zone for players who belong to that faction. There's a lot we want to explore with inter-faction relations, a lot of what makes it into the full game will depend on how factions play out in testing.
