Borderlands 3 is now available on Google Stadia, but this version doesn’t appear to contain the latest updates.
The game is at a special introductory price for $39 until January 7 at 7a PT. However, the version on Stadia is not the latest version of Borderlands 3 with all the latest updates.
“We aim to achieve feature parity for all versions of Borderlands 3 early in 2020, but for the moment the version of the game that you play on Stadia has benefitted from the updates and fixes that were released through October 24.”
The official news post does not state why the Stadia version does not have parity with all other versions of the game. However, lack of parity could explain the lower “introductory price.” Early 2020 seems like some time to wait to receive the most updated version of the game.
