The news comes way via Twitter, with the official Xbox Games Pass Twitter account tweeting the following:

It looks like GTA V is only available on the console version of Xbox Game Pass, with no mention of the PC Game Pass. Still, this is yet another huge add to the service, with Witcher 3 having just recently hit the subscription.
