Yesterday at Gamescom 2015, ArenaNet confirmed that Heart of Thorns, the next expansion of Guild Wars 2, will be coming out this year.
Though a public date hasn't been set yet, the studio also announced on their twitter that "In case you missed it on our livestream from #gamescom2015 this morning: #GW2HoT *will* be launching in 2015."
What's more, from August 7 to August 10th, Guild Wars 2 will be hosting its first public beta weekend for Heart of Thorns. It's really an exciting opportunity for players to experience the new expansion. Do remember to mark your calendar if you don't want to miss the event.
