The Guild Wars 2 site has been updated with a blog post that reveals the Revenant's elite specialization called the "Herald". Notably, the Herald specialization gives revenants the option to use a shield as an off-hand weapon.
The herald's skills are considered support through boons, utility and personal defense and will dovetail nicely with other legendaries for group utility.
The Legendary Dragon Stance comes via the legend Glint, a character from the original game who predicted much of what has subsequently come to pass. She is representative of upkeep skills.
