Cryptic Studios and Perfect World Entertainment have published a new blog on the Champions Online site that lays out some of the forthcoming changes to the Event system.
Players can look forward to features event almost every month, some of minor consuquence, other of highter importance. Players will earn rewards from these events. In addition, many of hourly events have been switched into something called "Special events" that will last longer and give better rewards. The first is currently underway and will run through August 20th.
